Jo-Anne and Richard welcome you to The Parsonage Cape Cod

In the eleven years of running the Parsonage Inn, Jo and Rich Hoad met so many wonderful guests. So it was with mixed feelings that they decided to re-invent the Inn and convert to the two rentals for the summer season. However, individual rooms will be available in the shoulder seasons and both Jo and Rich are excited at the opportunity of welcoming back existing guests, as well as new ones experiencing the historic home for the first time. They love the Cape, feel so lucky to live in such a remarkable historic house and look forward to sharing the beauty of Cape Cod with you. They’ve been married for 40 years, have five children, and have worked and lived in the United Kingdom, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Canada, Maryland, and Cape Cod. Jo-Anne comes from a family deeply involved in the hospitality industry. Her parents owned Inns in the UK for almost twenty years and her family live in the sailing center of Lymington in southern England. She successfully brought up a family of five children, managing and balancing the challenges of a busy home life. She is an accomplished home taught cook who uses only fresh, local and wherever possible organic ingredients. Working with two colleagues in Maryland, Jo and Rich established “Rich Pickings” an organic inspired catering partnership that provided personalized event catering. 

Richard is a successful Business and Marketing Director, focused in the airlines and airports managed services sector. He is a graduate of The Chartered Institute of Marketing and is an experienced aviation business professional who has run businesses, sales, and marketing organizations in the US and Europe.
