Winter at the Parsonage Inn is peaceful and relaxing. When the sea on the bay side freezes the beaches are stunning.  On the ocean side the snow runs down to the high tide mark. Wrap up well and enjoy the splendor of nature.  With crystal clear air, check the forecasts, Cape Cod is a unique winter getaway choice.  In Orleans many of the restaurants are open year round.

Spring fills the air with migrating song birds, vibrant energy, and the sweet perfume from the local flora exploding with lush green, tumbling wild roses, forsythia, and cherry blossoms. Enjoy one of natures remarkable events the “Herring Run“.  With the bike trails close by, enjoy a brisk bike ride, hot chocolate and pastries at one of the many coffee shops on route.

The lazy days of summer provide warm, soft sands, a pounding surf, music under the stars, breakfasts on the patio and a relaxing evening glass of wine at the Inn, before taking advantage of some of the exceptional restaurants in Orleans. It’s just a 5 minute walk from the Inn to the marina to take a seal cruise to Pleasant Bay, or experience a memorable whale watching cruise from Provincetown. And of course so many beaches to chose from!

Fall is a favorite time of the year in Cape Cod.  The weather is gorgeous, beaches quieter, restaurants open, this is  is all about its hiking trails strewn with red and gold, warm ponds, cranberry harvesting and, of course relaxing in the comfort of our Cape Cod Inn.
